The ExECS Association makes a conscious effort to contribute not only to Ex Student activities, but to the current college community, (our prospective members!).

Recent support has involved a successful sponsorship of the ELTHAM Golf Day, and purchase of a table at the ECCA Dinner Dance.  Forthcoming support will see a Gold sponsorship of the MASTERWORKS 2007 Exhibition in October. Stay tuned for information re free tickets to the Gala opening night!  To directly support students and prospective ExECS, has set up the annual ExECS ELTHAM Spirit Award.

Sponsorship of  ELTHAM Golf Day  2007 and 2008

The annual ELTHAM Golf Day is a wider school community event providing opportunities for local, regional and community partners & friends to support and celebrate ELTHAM College of Education. The event is also one of ELTHAM’s major fundraisers to support the development of a vibrant and positive learning experience at the College.

In 2007 and 2008, Heritage Golf and Country Club provided the perfect venue for ELTHAM’s fourth corporate golf day. The new traditional links style Henley course offered a beautiful and stimulating golf challenge for both novice and experienced players alike.

The ExECS Bronze sponsorship played a significant role in making this year’s event a huge success. Marking the beginning of new initiatives by the Management Committee to raise the profile of ExECS amongst past students, staff and community partners, this event provided the ideal opportunity to network whilst supporting ELTHAM College of Education.

Any keen golfers out there are more than welcome to join us on course in 2009!  We’ll keep you posted regarding dates.

ExECS ELTHAM Spirit Award

2006 saw the creation of a new ExECS Initiative which has continued into 2008, The ExECS ELTHAM Spirit Award.  This award was devised as a way for the ExECS Assoc. to give back to, and be involved in, the current ELTHAM community, and also to improve the awareness and profile of ExECS within the student body.  This will hopefully lead to a greater number of students continuing their involvement in the school and with each other as they move on after their time at ELTHAM.  The ELTHAM Spirit Award rewards Year 11 students that are living examples of everything great about ELTHAM and that exhibit the unique spirit of the school.  The winners of this annual award will become ExECS Ambassadors for their final year at ELTHAM, spreading the word and promoting ExECS.

The winner of the ELTHAM Spirit Award for 2007 was Tom Browne and Jayden Kenny with a proposal to initiate an ExECS Theatre Group called Spectron.

Masterworks 2007 Gold Sponsor

October 12 - 26  2007

MASTERWORKS is an invitational bi-ennial exhibition showcasing emerging and established contemporary artists. Over the past years MASTERWORKS has achieved an increasing reputation as an exceptional visual art exhibition, a true reflection of the quality of work shown, the caliber of the artists represented & ELTHAM College of Education’s  steadfast commitment to the arts.

Held at Swipers Gully Vineyard and Restaurant from October 12th to 26th 2007, this exhibition works not only as fundraising vehicle for ELTHAM College but as an important and deliberate celebration of the visual arts.  MASTERWORKS is one of ELTHAM’s most popular social and fundraising events, attended by College families and members of the artistic and wider community.

Through a Gold Sponsorship of this high quality event, ExECS has the opportunity to increase its profile and to support ELTHAM College of Education. The Gold sponsorship also entitles ExECS Association to 4 complimentary tickets to the Gala Opening Night, stay tuned to find out how you can be one of the lucky attendees!
